Amazing Wedding!!!

So I had the honor of second shooting a wedding with the amazing Andrea Wood. Second shooting is so much fun because you get the extra experience without so much of the stress because you are just backing up the main shooter and trying to find fun angles and help the main shooter as much as possible. This was the most beautiful wedding I've ever been a part of. The location was incredible, the couple was so laid back and incredibly gorgeous. I had so much fun, even though it was ridiculously hot! Thanks so much Andrea for such a wonderful opportunity! You guys should definitely check out Andrea's work here. Here's some of the shots that I was able to get!

Birthday Session

This girly will soon be my little sister. My parents and working on adopting her, but currently she lives with my husband and me as our foster daughter, so I like to say she is my dister (daughter/sister). She recently turned 17, so we did a short and fun little birthday photo shoot. Enjoy!

Grason is a Cowboy!

I absolutely loved this photo session. I used to babysit this little boy when I was a senior in high school. At that time he was only 7 months old. Omgoodness, he's grown so much. He was so much fun, and such a perfect little model. He loves old westerns, so he knew how to pose and everything. We really had a great time. Enjoy this preview!

Love At Last Sight

So, I just finished reading this book called Love At Last Sight by Kerry & Chris Shook.  It's a 30 day guide to growing and deepening your closest relationships. I really enjoyed this book. While the points they present aren't mind-blowing they are practical. The book has helped me regain a focus on my relationships that I had lost. I've seen areas where I need to work on my relationships such as intentionally going beyond surface issues and having real conversations with the ones I love. I need to learn what the people I love dream about, love to do, and what scares them. I have to stop being afraid of being rejected and reach out to the ones I love and really act intentionally in their lives. I have to be willing to be awkward and be willing to be selfless. I highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to strengthen their relationships in a Biblical way.

I received this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group for this review.
