Tonight I did a very special session. My friend, Beth, is 34 weeks pregnant with her second baby girl. We had planned to do her maternity session this week, but last week she was admitted into the hospital for preeclampsia. The doctors have said she will have to stay in the hospital until her baby girl is born, and they're hoping she'll make it two more weeks. So tonight, another friend of mine and I went to visit Beth at the hospital and did a few maternity portraits in Beth's room. They won't let her leave her room, so we had to do them in there. It isn't exactly what we imagined for her maternity session, but these memories are captured, and they will be so special years from now to share with baby Emery.

| At one point Beth had to have her blood pressure taken and then was told to lie down, so we of course had to document this as well. |
